3. Who May Use the Platform

By using the Platform, you confirm that the law applicable to you permits you to enter into a legally binding agreement and that your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

You must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when using the Platform and keep it current. We may request additional information or verification where reasonably necessary for operational, compliance, security or fraud prevention purposes.

The Platform may not be used by any person or organisation subject to sanctions, trade restrictions, legal prohibitions or other limitations that would make use of the Services unlawful or restricted.

We may, at our sole discretion, refuse access to the Platform, reject a registration, restrict particular features, suspend an Account or terminate access to the Services where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its users, our business, security or compliance.

Nothing in these Terms guarantees uninterrupted access to the Platform or obliges us to approve, maintain or continue to provide any Account or service.

4. Age Requirement

The Platform is intended only for persons who are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law.

Where the registration flow provides for it, users must actively confirm their age through a separate age-confirmation step, such as ticking a checkbox, before an Account can be created or the Services used. This confirmation is an additional safeguard and does not limit our right to request further proof of age or identity under this Section.

By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that your use of the Services does not breach any law, regulation or contractual restriction applicable to you.

We may request proof of age, identity verification or other information at any time where reasonably necessary for compliance, security, fraud prevention or operational reasons. If the requested information is not provided within a reasonable period, we may temporarily restrict the Account, suspend Orders, limit functionality or terminate access to the Platform.

If we have reasonable grounds to believe that a user is under 18, or has provided false, misleading or inaccurate information about their age or eligibility, we may restrict or terminate that user's access to the Platform immediately and without prior notice.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform is lawful in your country of residence and permitted under the rules of any third-party platform involved, including the rules and policies of Steam.

5. Account Registration

Certain features of the Platform are available only to users who have created an Account using one of the registration and sign-in methods supported by the Platform.

You must provide accurate, complete and current information during registration and keep your Account details up to date for as long as you use the Platform.

Your Account is for your personal use only. You must not sell, transfer, share, sublicense or otherwise make it available to any other person without our prior written consent. You must not impersonate any other person or organisation, create a misleading identity or use information you are not legally entitled to use.

You are solely responsible for keeping your Account credentials, devices and linked third-party accounts confidential and secure. Any activity carried out through your Account will be treated as authorised by you unless proven otherwise.

You must notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised access to your Account, any security breach, any misuse of your Account or any other suspicious activity related to your use of the Platform.

We may reject a registration, restrict Account features, request additional information, suspend access or close an Account where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, fraud prevention, operational integrity or the protection of the Platform and its users.

Creating or using multiple Accounts for abusive, manipulative, fraudulent or otherwise prohibited purposes is strictly prohibited.

6. Steam Login and Integration

The Platform operates through an integration with Steam and its trading infrastructure. To use certain features and to receive purchased Digital Items, you must sign in and connect a valid Steam account through the supported Steam login system.

By connecting a Steam account to the Platform, you confirm that you are its lawful owner or an authorised user and that you are legally permitted to use it with the Services.

After you sign in with Steam, certain features may remain unavailable until your Steam account meets the trading and security requirements set by Steam. Steam may apply mandatory trade holds, security waiting periods, verification checks or account restrictions, none of which we control.

You may be required to maintain certain Steam security settings, including Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator protection, active trading permissions, verified account settings and any other security measures Steam requires from time to time.

Depending on the status and history of your Steam account, the ability to receive items may be available immediately or may remain restricted for several days under Steam security rules. This may occur, for example, after a password reset, a device change, the activation of an authenticator, a period of inactivity or another account security event.

We have no control over Steam systems, trade holds, account restrictions, API limits, outages or any other measures applied by Valve Corporation or related third-party services. Orders and Deliveries may therefore be delayed, restricted, cancelled, reversed or unavailable due to Steam limitations, technical interruptions, security mechanisms or other external factors beyond our reasonable control.

You must not use any stolen, compromised, shared, purchased, manipulated or otherwise unauthorised Steam account with the Platform. We may suspend, restrict, review or terminate access to the Platform where we detect suspicious activity, unauthorised use, abusive behaviour or a violation of Steam rules.

PatternPeak is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Valve Corporation or Steam unless we expressly state otherwise. All Steam trademarks, services and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Nature of the Platform and the Services

PatternPeak is an online store for buying digital in-game items. The Company sells Digital Items from its own inventory and delivers them to Customers through supported third-party trading infrastructure. The Services are provided solely to support the purchase and delivery of virtual cosmetic items belonging to supported gaming platforms.

The Company operates the Platform, sells the Digital Items offered on it and acts as merchant of record for all Orders processed through the Services. Every payment made by a user is processed solely in connection with the purchase of a specific Digital Item available on the Platform.

The Platform provides an internal Top-Up Balance that exists solely to support the purchase of Digital Items through the Services. The Top-Up Balance is credited when a user adds funds by card. It may be used only to buy Digital Items on the Platform and cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, refunded to a bank card or transferred to any other user.

The Platform does not provide banking services, electronic money, regulated payment accounts, general money transfer services, investment products, gambling or financial advice. Users may not use the Platform to send money to other users, exchange currencies or carry out financial transactions unrelated to the purchase of supported Digital Items. The Top-Up Balance does not constitute a deposit, electronic money or a claim against the Company, except to the extent expressly set out in these Terms.

The Platform does not create Digital Items and has no control over the third-party gaming ecosystems in which those items exist or are used. Certain Services rely on third-party systems, including Steam and its trading infrastructure.

We may modify, restrict, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, the Platform's features, the range of Digital Items offered, the available payment methods or any operational functionality where reasonably necessary for operational, technical, security, compliance or business reasons.

Digital Items offered on the Platform are virtual entertainment items that belong to third-party gaming ecosystems such as Steam. They exist only in digital form and may be subject to restrictions, limits, trade holds, delays, changes, removals, reversals or other measures imposed by game publishers, Steam or other third-party operators.

We do not guarantee that any Digital Item offered or purchased through the Platform will remain available, transferable, compatible, in demand or of any particular market value. Prices, availability and delivery conditions may change at any time due to market conditions, stock levels, technical limitations, Steam restrictions, account limits, game updates, publisher decisions or other external factors beyond our reasonable control.

You acknowledge that buying Digital Items involves operational, technical and platform risks, including delayed delivery, failed transfers, temporary unavailability, trade reversals, Steam interruptions, API limits, account security issues, item restrictions and other measures taken by third-party platforms.

In some circumstances a Digital Item may become unavailable, restricted, reversed, locked, removed or otherwise inaccessible due to action or limits imposed by Steam, a game publisher, an account restriction, a technical failure or another third-party system. We do not guarantee that an affected Digital Item can be recovered or restored.

We may temporarily delay, suspend, review, restrict or reverse Orders, Deliveries or related activity where reasonably necessary due to Steam-related risks, delivery concerns, technical inconsistencies, fraud prevention, trade reversals, operational integrity or other operational and security considerations.

We do not control and are not responsible for the operation, availability, security, policies or technical performance of Steam or any other third-party gaming platform. You remain solely responsible for keeping the third-party accounts required to use the Services compliant, functional and secure.

9. Placing and Processing Orders

You may place Orders for Digital Items offered on the Platform using the features and procedures that the website provides from time to time.

An Order is considered submitted once you confirm through the Platform interface that you wish to proceed with a purchase. After submission, the Order may undergo automated or manual processing, verification, review or confirmation before completion.

While an Order is being processed, the Platform may display different statuses, such as pending, processing, completed, cancelled, disputed, failed or under review, or other operational statuses reflecting the current stage of the purchase.

Submitting an Order does not guarantee that the purchase will be completed. An Order may be delayed, restricted, cancelled, reversed or declined where reasonably necessary due to technical issues, pricing errors, items being out of stock, duplicate Orders, Steam restrictions, security concerns, suspicious activity, fraud prevention, compliance checks, operational limits or third-party system interruptions.

We may, at our reasonable discretion, review, decline, suspend or cancel any Order where necessary to protect the Platform, its users, payment providers, operational integrity or security.

You are responsible for carefully reviewing the details of an Order before confirming it, including the selected item, the price, the delivery details and the connected Steam account. Once processing has started, it may not always be possible to cancel or modify the Order.

The Platform may use automated systems, internal monitoring tools, Order reviews and technical verification procedures in processing Orders and operating the Platform.

10. Payments and Payment Processing

The Platform allows users to pay for Digital Items offered on it. Each payment made through the Platform is processed solely to complete the purchase of a specific Digital Item or to add funds to the Top-Up Balance for that purpose.

The Company acts as merchant of record for all payments processed through the Platform. When you enter payment details and confirm a payment, it is processed by authorised third-party payment service providers ("PSPs") and related financial infrastructure selected by the Company from time to time.

Available payment methods may vary depending on your location, the payment profile, operational availability and the support of third-party providers, and may change at any time without prior notice.

Entering payment details does not guarantee that a payment will be accepted or completed. A payment may be declined, delayed, reversed, restricted, cancelled, held for review or otherwise unavailable due to technical issues, Steam restrictions, fraud prevention, issuer decisions, PSP requirements, verification, compliance checks, insufficient funds, suspected unauthorised activity or other operational or security reasons.

A payment is not considered successfully processed until the Company receives confirmation of successful payment authorisation and the related processing results from the relevant PSP or payment infrastructure.

Once a payment has been successfully processed, the Order may proceed to the delivery stage in accordance with the Platform's operational procedures. Until delivery is complete, the Order may still be reviewed, temporarily restricted, cancelled, reversed or subject to further verification where reasonably necessary.

We may use automated or manual order reviews, behavioural analysis, device and account checks, velocity controls, suspicious activity detection tools and other protective mechanisms to keep payments secure, prevent fraud and preserve operational integrity.

You acknowledge that payment processing is provided by third-party PSPs and financial institutions. We have no control over external banking systems, card networks, issuer decisions, payment network outages or delays caused by third-party processors.

As set out in Section 7, the Platform maintains an internal Top-Up Balance to support purchases but does not provide general-purpose electronic money, payment accounts or money transfer services. Payments through the Platform are processed solely in connection with the purchase of Digital Items, and the Top-Up Balance is not a deposit or a claim except as set out in these Terms.

Funds added to the Top-Up Balance are non-refundable and constitute a credit usable only for buying Digital Items on the Platform. Once added, top-up funds cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, converted into cash or returned to the original card, bank account or any other payment method, whether used or unused, unless applicable law expressly requires otherwise. By adding funds to the Top-Up Balance, you request immediate access to this feature and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, acknowledge that this may affect any statutory right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to the top-up payment.

We may decline, suspend, limit, reverse, delay or cancel payments and Orders where reasonably necessary for operational, technical, security, compliance, fraud prevention or operational integrity reasons.

11. Delivery of Purchased Items

After a payment has been successfully processed, the Company will begin delivering the purchased Digital Item from its inventory through the supported Steam trading infrastructure and the Platform's own systems.

Digital Items are delivered through Steam by means of a trade offer sent to the Steam account connected to your Account. To receive items, you must maintain a valid, correctly configured Steam account with an accurate Steam Trade URL that meets Steam's requirements and restrictions. You are responsible for accepting the trade offer within the time indicated on the Platform.

The Platform may use automated systems, API integrations, trade verification tools, internal monitoring or manual review to confirm the status and completion of Deliveries.

During delivery, an Order may move through several statuses, such as pending, processing, completed, disputed, failed, cancelled or under review, or similar statuses indicating the progress of the Order.

An Order will generally be considered completed once the Platform receives reasonable confirmation that the Digital Item has been transferred or made available to the Customer through the relevant trading infrastructure. In determining the status of an Order, we may rely on technical logs, trade records, Steam data, API responses, timestamps, delivery confirmations and any other available technical evidence.

The Platform's technical delivery records and logs may serve as the primary evidence for verifying Orders, assessing disputes, preventing fraud, reviewing operations and protecting the Platform.

Delivery times may vary depending on Steam availability, the status of your Steam account, technical restrictions, API performance, security reviews, account limits, trade holds and other operational factors beyond our reasonable control. Items delivered through Steam may be subject to a trade hold imposed by Steam, during which you may be unable to trade the item further. The duration of any such hold is determined solely by Steam and is outside our control.

We may delay, suspend or cancel an Order where delivery cannot be confirmed, suspicious activity is detected or technical issues arise. We may also reverse an Order where further review is needed to protect the integrity and security of the Platform.

You acknowledge that some Orders may fail or remain incomplete due to external technical limits, Steam restrictions, items becoming unavailable, trade offers not being accepted in time, account limits or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

12. Prices, Fees and Taxes

The Company determines the prices of Digital Items offered on the Platform. Prices may change depending on market conditions, availability, stock levels, demand, price movements and other relevant factors.

We may charge service fees, processing fees or other charges for use of the Platform and the Services. Any applicable fees may be displayed during the purchase process or otherwise communicated through the Platform from time to time.

You acknowledge that payment providers, banks, card issuers and other financial institutions may apply their own fees, such as currency conversion fees, transfer fees, intermediary bank charges or other external costs, which are outside our control.

We may change our prices, fees, supported payment methods or other charges at any time where reasonably necessary for operational, technical, commercial, compliance or business reasons. The price applicable to an Order is the price displayed at the moment you confirm it.

You are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, levies, reporting obligations or other governmental charges that apply to you in connection with your use of the Platform, except for taxes that the Company is legally required to charge and collect.

We do not provide tax, accounting, financial or legal advice. Where necessary, you are responsible for obtaining independent advice on your own tax and reporting obligations.

13. Refunds and Failed Orders

Because the Services are digital and Digital Items are processed and transferred immediately through third-party gaming infrastructure, a purchase completed on the Platform is generally final and non-refundable once successful delivery has been confirmed.

We will consider a refund request only in limited circumstances, for example where an Order cannot be completed due to a failed delivery, a confirmed technical error, a duplicate Order, unauthorised payment activity or another exceptional situation in which we determine that a refund is reasonably justified.

A delivery may be treated as failed where the Digital Item cannot be transferred to the Customer through the Steam trading infrastructure within a reasonable time due to a technical failure, an item becoming unavailable, a Steam restriction, an API interruption, a trade error or another operational issue preventing completion.

Refund requests should generally be submitted within 14 days of the Order date, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

The availability of a refund may depend on delivery confirmation records, Steam trade data, technical verification results, Platform records, payment processing outcomes, the results of any dispute review and other operational or security information available to us.

A refund will generally not be available where delivery of the Digital Item has been completed and confirmed through the relevant technical systems and Platform records.

Where we approve a refund for a failed or cancelled Order, the amount is credited back to your Top-Up Balance. Such amounts are not returned to your card or bank account. Amounts credited to the Top-Up Balance under this paragraph remain subject to Section 10 and cannot subsequently be withdrawn or sent to a card or bank account.

Where we approve a refund for a confirmed duplicate or unauthorised charge to your card, the relevant amount will be credited to your Top-Up Balance, unless the relevant payment service provider arranges a return directly to the original card or applicable law requires it. You may still dispute a card charge directly with your bank or card issuer, independently of this Section, subject to Section 15.

The time needed to process a refund may depend on payment providers, banks, card issuers, compliance reviews, technical systems or external financial infrastructure beyond our reasonable control.

We may refuse, limit, delay, suspend or review a refund request where we detect suspicious activity, fraud concerns, chargeback risk, abuse of the refund process, technical inconsistencies or a breach of these Terms.

14. Complaints

You may submit a complaint about Orders, delivery issues, Account restrictions, technical problems, payment concerns or any other matter relating to your use of the Platform by contacting us at support@patternpeak.com.

Complaints should generally be submitted within 14 days of the relevant Order, event or issue, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

A complaint should contain sufficient information for us to identify you, the Order or issue concerned and the nature of the complaint. We may request additional information, documents, screenshots, technical evidence, Steam information or any other material reasonably required to review and assess it.

We will review complaints within a reasonable timeframe. As part of our investigation, we may carry out technical, operational, security, fraud prevention, compliance or Order checks.

The time required to resolve a complaint may vary depending on the complexity of the issue, the availability of relevant information, the cooperation of third-party providers, Steam systems, payment providers and other external factors beyond our reasonable control.

We expect users to act in good faith during a complaint review and to provide accurate and complete information when requested. We may reject, suspend or limit the handling of a complaint where we identify false information, abusive behaviour, fraudulent activity, duplicate claims or misuse of the complaints process.

Submitting a complaint does not in itself result in a refund, reversal, compensation or any other particular outcome. Each complaint is assessed on the basis of the technical records, Platform data, Order history, Steam information and other relevant evidence available to us.

15. Disputes and Claims

You may raise a Dispute regarding Orders, delivery status, failed transfers, unauthorised activity, payment issues, Account restrictions or other matters relating to the Platform by contacting us at support@patternpeak.com.

Each Dispute is handled through our internal review process, in which we rely on the information available to us at the time, including technical records, Order data, Platform records, Steam information, API responses, timestamps, payment status data, Account activity records and other operational evidence.

We may ask you to provide additional information, screenshots, Order references, Steam details, payment confirmations, identity verification documents or other supporting evidence reasonably necessary to assess the Dispute.

When assessing a Dispute and determining the outcome of an Order, we may treat technical delivery records, transaction logs, Steam trade confirmations, API verification data, internal monitoring systems and Platform records as primary evidence.

Where an Order has been completed and delivery has been confirmed through the relevant technical systems and available records, we may reject any Dispute, refund request, reversal claim or related complaint concerning that Order.

You agree to cooperate in good faith with any Dispute investigation and not to submit false, misleading, abusive, duplicate or fraudulent claims.

If you initiate a payment reversal, bank dispute, card issuer claim or similar payment claim through a bank, card issuer, PSP or payment provider, we may provide Order records, delivery confirmations, technical logs, Account information, communication history and other relevant evidence to defend or support the review of that claim.

Where Disputes, payment claims, fraud concerns or risks to operational integrity arise, we may suspend Orders, restrict Accounts, freeze the Top-Up Balance, recover losses or take other reasonable protective measures.

All decisions on Disputes are made on the basis of the evidence, technical systems, Platform records, operational reviews and security considerations reasonably available to us at the time of assessment.

16. Prohibited and Restricted Use

You must not use the Platform for any unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, manipulative or unauthorised purpose. The Platform may be used only for genuine purchases of Digital Items in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

You must not use the Platform in connection with any Steam account, payment method, device, identity or third-party account that is stolen, fraudulently obtained, manipulated, restricted, unauthorised or compromised.

You must not engage in fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, exploitation of pricing errors, fake Orders, coordinated abuse, account sharing or resale, impersonation, abuse of multiple accounts, automated exploitation, bot activity, phishing, social engineering or any attempt to interfere with the integrity, security or operation of the Platform.

The Platform must not be used to conceal, transfer, exchange, move, store or layer funds or assets, or to facilitate the movement of funds or assets, where this is unrelated to a genuine purchase of Digital Items. You must not use the Services as a money transfer mechanism, a payment routing service, a financial intermediary or a tool for unauthorised transactions.

You must not circumvent, attempt to circumvent or help anyone else circumvent any restriction, verification procedure, Account limit, sanctions control, fraud prevention system, payment protection, purchase limit, geographic restriction or security measure implemented by the Company, Steam, payment providers or third-party systems.

The Platform must not be used by sanctioned or restricted persons, from prohibited jurisdictions, or by anyone acting in breach of applicable sanctions, export controls or trade restrictions.

You must not use the Platform in any way that violates Steam rules, publisher policies, third-party platform requirements, intellectual property rights or applicable laws and regulations.

Further rules on permitted and prohibited activities are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We may investigate any suspected prohibited activity. Where we identify or reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms, abuse of the Platform, fraud risk, a security concern or unlawful conduct, we may suspend, restrict, close, reverse, cancel, report or otherwise take action in respect of the Accounts, Orders, balances or activity concerned.

17. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Rights

All content, software, website design, graphics, logos, text, Platform functionality, databases, interfaces, trademarks, branding and other materials available through the Platform, excluding third-party content and intellectual property, are owned by or licensed to the Company and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the Platform only for personal and lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, commercially exploit or otherwise use any Platform content or functionality without our prior written consent, except where permitted by applicable law.

Digital Items on the Platform may be associated with third-party games, publishers, developers, trademarks, copyrights or other intellectual property owned by others. The Company does not claim ownership of any third-party game assets, game-related intellectual property, Steam services or publisher trademarks.

Steam, Valve Corporation, game publishers, developers and other third-party operators retain ownership of their respective trademarks, services, game assets and intellectual property. Any reference on the Platform to a third-party name, game, trademark or service is made solely for identification and informational purposes.

You must not use the Platform in any way that infringes intellectual property rights, violates the rights of others, misuses protected content or breaches laws or platform policies on the protection of intellectual property.

Where we identify or reasonably suspect an intellectual property infringement, unauthorised use of content or a violation of third-party rights, we may remove content, restrict activity, suspend Accounts or take other reasonable action.

18. Account Restrictions and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, freeze, limit, review or terminate access to the Platform, to Accounts, to Orders, to the Top-Up Balance, to Platform features or to related Services where reasonably necessary for operational, technical, security, compliance, fraud prevention, operational integrity or business protection reasons.

Such measures may be applied in cases including, without limitation, suspected fraud, suspicious activity, payment disputes, chargebacks, Account compromise, violations of Steam rules, abusive behaviour, manipulation of Orders or Platform activity, prohibited activity, false information, security risks, sanctions concerns, breaches of these Terms, or breaches of applicable law or third-party platform rules.

While investigations, reviews, technical checks or compliance procedures are ongoing, we may temporarily restrict Orders, freeze the Top-Up Balance, place Accounts under review, request further verification or apply other protective measures.

Where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform or its users, we may apply restrictions or close an Account immediately and without prior notice.

If an Account is restricted or closed, access to Platform features, Order history, pending Orders, the Top-Up Balance or related Services may be limited where operational, legal, compliance or security considerations require.

You remain liable for any obligations, liabilities, disputes, payment reversals, chargebacks, losses, fees or breaches arising before, or in connection with, the suspension or closure of your Account.

We may retain relevant Order records, technical logs, communication history, verification data and operational information where reasonably necessary for legal, security, compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or business protection purposes.

19. Security and Scam Prevention

You are responsible for keeping your Account, devices, Steam account, authentication methods, email access and any related credentials used with the Platform secure.

You should take reasonable precautions to protect yourself against phishing, fake websites, impersonation, social engineering, fake trade offers, fraudulent messages, malicious software, account takeover and other forms of online abuse common in relation to digital items and third-party gaming ecosystems.

We will never request your Steam password, card PIN, full payment authentication credentials or any other sensitive security information in an unsolicited message.

You are solely responsible for verifying that trade offers, links, external messages, third-party services and any interactions outside the official Platform environment are legitimate. Before accepting a trade offer, you should confirm that it matches the Order shown in your Account on the Platform.

We are not responsible for losses resulting from compromised user accounts, phishing attacks, scams conducted elsewhere, compromised devices, unauthorised third-party access, fake trade offers or security incidents caused by user negligence, the actions of third parties or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You must notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access, Account compromise, fraudulent activity or security incident affecting your use of the Platform.

20. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform and all related Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, whether express or implied, except where applicable law does not permit such a disclaimer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the Platform will be continuously available, that Steam systems will always be accessible, that the Platform will be free from errors or interruptions, or that any Digital Item will remain available, transferable, compatible or of any particular market value.

The Platform may from time to time be unavailable, restricted, delayed, interrupted or limited due to maintenance, technical issues, Steam or API failures, third-party outages, infrastructure disruptions, security events, operational updates, capacity limits or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for any loss, damage, interruption, delay, restriction, failed transfer, unavailable item, Account limit, trade reversal, security incident, technical failure, Steam action, third-party platform decision, API interruption or other event caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You acknowledge that buying Digital Items involves operational, technical, market and third-party platform risks, including changes in market value, delayed delivery, account restrictions, loss of access to Digital Items, temporary unavailability and changes made by Steam, game publishers, payment providers or other third-party systems.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential loss or damage, including loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, loss of Digital Items, loss of data, reputational damage or other intangible losses, arising from or in connection with the use of the Platform or the Services.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to any Order, Dispute, claim or use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by the relevant user to the Company for the specific Order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

21. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure, interruption, delay, suspension, restriction or inability to perform any obligation under these Terms where this results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include technical failures, Steam or API outages, cyberattacks, infrastructure disruptions, internet failures, interruptions to third-party services, payment provider failures, government actions, legal restrictions, industrial disputes, security incidents, force majeure events and other operational or external events affecting the availability or functioning of the Platform or the Services.

For as long as such circumstances continue, we may temporarily suspend, delay, restrict, modify or limit access to the Platform, Orders, delivery processes or related Services where reasonably necessary.

22. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, service providers and partners from and against all claims, disputes, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, penalties, fines, chargebacks, investigations and legal fees arising from or in connection with any of the following: your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, fraudulent activity, payment disputes, chargebacks, Account compromise caused by you, unlawful conduct, prohibited activity, third-party claims, intellectual property infringement, violations of Steam rules, misuse of payment methods, or breaches of applicable law or third-party platform rules.

Where the Company incurs losses, liabilities or costs in connection with your actions, Orders, Disputes or breaches of these Terms, we may recover those losses, reverse Orders, set off amounts against your Top-Up Balance, apply restrictions or take other reasonable protective measures.

You agree to cooperate with us in any investigation, Dispute, claim, chargeback defence, fraud review, compliance review or legal request reasonably connected with your use of the Platform.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with the Platform or the Services, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

We encourage you to contact us first at support@patternpeak.com and attempt to resolve any concern, complaint or Dispute in good faith before commencing formal legal proceedings.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, claim or legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform or the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory legal rights or consumer protections available to you under applicable law.
