1. Introduction and Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to all users of the website patternpeak.com (the "Platform"), operated by PRISMPALETTE GRAPHICS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16984583, with its registered office at Level One, Basecamp, 49, Jamaica Street, Liverpool, England, L1 0AH ("PatternPeak", the "Company", "we", "us" or "our"). This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service. It sets out the rules for using the Platform, identifies permitted and prohibited activities, and explains which items the Platform offers and which it does not.

PatternPeak is an online store where users can buy supported virtual in-game items from the Company's own inventory and receive them on their Steam accounts. The Platform must not be used for any activity outside this purpose.

To keep the Platform secure, lawful and commercially responsible, the Company applies reasonable controls designed to prevent misuse of the Platform, fraud, artificial or abusive orders, unauthorised use of accounts or payment methods, technical abuse and any other conduct that could create legal, operational, financial, reputational or security risks.

You may access and use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with this Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable law, the requirements of third-party platforms and the legitimate operation of the Platform.

Any use of the Platform that breaches this Policy may result in restrictions, order reviews, account limitations, suspension of the Services, cancellation or reversal of orders, freezing of the top-up balance, termination of access or any other measure the Company reasonably considers necessary.

2. Permitted Use

The Platform may be used solely for lawful purchases of the digital in-game items offered on it by the Company and for receiving those items through the supported Steam trading infrastructure.

Each purchase must be a genuine purchase made by the account holder, paid for using a payment method the account holder is entitled to use, and delivered to a Steam account that the account holder lawfully owns or is authorised to use.

You must not engage in artificial, misleading, deceptive, abusive or non-genuine activity aimed at manipulating orders, prices, promotions, user behaviour, Platform functionality or any other aspect of the Services.

The Platform may be used only in connection with supported gaming ecosystems and authorised user accounts. Any use of the Platform for activity unrelated to the legitimate purchase and receipt of the digital items offered on it is prohibited.

The Company may determine whether a particular use of the Platform is consistent with its intended purpose. Where activity appears inconsistent with this Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable legal requirements or the legitimate operation of the Services, the Company may apply restrictions, reviews or other measures.

3. Items Available on the Platform

The Platform offers only the digital in-game items that the Company makes available from its own inventory and that can be lawfully transferred through the relevant gaming platform. The Company decides the range of items, their prices and their availability, all of which may change at any time.

Users cannot list, offer or sell items on the Platform, and the Platform must not be used to arrange the sale or exchange of items between users.

Only digital items from gaming ecosystems expressly supported by the Platform are offered through the Services.

The Company may refuse, restrict, suspend, cancel or reverse any order that does not comply with this Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable law or the requirements of the relevant third-party platform.

4. Items Not Offered on the Platform

The Platform does not offer, and must not be used in an attempt to obtain, any item that is unlawful, unauthorised, ineligible for transfer or inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Services.

In particular, the Platform does not offer and cannot be used to obtain Steam accounts, gaming accounts, account credentials, account access rights, account rentals or any other account-related products; game activation keys, software licences, subscription codes, gift cards, vouchers, prepaid cards, promotional codes or similar products; cryptocurrencies, crypto-assets, tokens, stablecoins, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), digital currencies, virtual currencies or any other blockchain-based assets; digital items from gaming ecosystems not expressly supported by the Platform; or any item whose transfer, possession, purchase or use may violate applicable law, third-party platform rules, intellectual property rights or contractual restrictions.

The Company may determine, at its sole discretion, which items are offered on the Platform. To enforce this Policy, it may cancel orders, restrict accounts, freeze the top-up balance or take any other reasonably necessary measure.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You must not engage in any activity that undermines the integrity, security, lawful operation or intended purpose of the Platform.

Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, any form of fraud or attempted fraud, deceptive behaviour, misrepresentation or unlawful activity. It also includes chargeback abuse, payment disputes raised in bad faith, unauthorised payment reversals and misuse of consumer protection mechanisms, as well as the use of payment methods, payment accounts, cards, banking credentials, financial instruments, Steam accounts, gaming accounts, credentials or access rights belonging to another person without proper authorisation.

Sharing, renting, leasing, reselling or transferring accounts, and any other unauthorised account-related activity, are prohibited.

Exploiting pricing errors, abusing promotions or bonuses, placing fake or coordinated orders through related accounts, and any conduct intended to create a false or misleading impression of order history, account activity or Platform metrics are prohibited.

You must not use the Platform to transfer value between related persons, related accounts, cooperating parties or otherwise connected users, for example by buying items for another person as a means of passing money to them, where the primary purpose is not a genuine purchase of digital items. The Platform must not be used to move funds, cash out, create value transfer arrangements or carry out any other transaction unrelated to a legitimate purchase.

Using the Platform as a payment service, money transfer service, remittance service, settlement mechanism, financial intermediary or any similar service for transferring, routing, receiving, storing, exchanging or distributing funds outside the intended scope of the Services is strictly prohibited. The internal top-up balance described in the Terms of Service exists solely to pay for digital items on the Platform and must not be used for any other purpose.

Any attempt to bypass, circumvent, manipulate or interfere with restrictions, review procedures, order controls, account limits, security measures, fraud prevention systems, rate limits, API controls or other operational safeguards implemented by the Company or by third-party platforms is prohibited.

The use of bots, scripts, crawlers, scrapers, automated purchasing tools, automated data collection tools, spam tools or similar technologies to access, monitor, extract data from, interact with or use the Platform without the Company's prior written authorisation is prohibited.

Any attempt to disrupt, overload, damage, test, penetrate, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its systems, infrastructure, databases, APIs, security measures or related services is prohibited.

Uploading, transmitting, distributing or using malicious software, malware, viruses, corrupted files, harmful code or any other material intended to compromise the security, integrity, availability or proper operation of the Platform is prohibited.

The Company may investigate any suspected prohibited conduct. To protect the Platform, its users and its business partners, it may suspend accounts, cancel orders, freeze the top-up balance, restrict access to the Services or take any other reasonably necessary measure.

6. Steam Account Requirements

You may use the Platform only with Steam accounts that you lawfully own or are otherwise authorised to use.

You are responsible for ensuring that your Steam account remains active, secure and capable of receiving items through Steam's trading infrastructure, and that the Steam Trade URL linked to your account is correct. Any restriction, limitation, suspension, trade hold, security review or other measure imposed by Steam may affect whether purchased items can be delivered to you.

You must comply with all applicable Steam rules, policies, requirements and security measures, including those relating to Steam Guard, trade confirmation, account security, account eligibility and trading functionality.

You are solely responsible for keeping your Steam account, login credentials, authentication methods, devices and Steam Trade URL secure. The Company is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorised access to your Steam account, compromised credentials, misuse of your account or actions taken through your Steam account.

The Platform must not be used with any Steam account that is stolen, hacked, compromised, shared, rented, purchased, transferred or otherwise unauthorised.

7. Monitoring and Review

The Company may monitor orders, payments, account activity, purchasing patterns and other use of the Platform where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity, security and proper operation of the Services.

Where there are reasonable grounds to investigate suspected fraud, prohibited conduct, technical issues, disputes, security concerns or breaches of this Policy, the Company may review orders, deliveries, account activity, payment activity, purchasing behaviour and related information.

You may be asked to provide additional information or clarification regarding specific orders, payments, account activity or your use of the Platform where reasonably necessary to complete an internal review.

8. Enforcement Measures

The Company may take any action reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy, protect the Platform, prevent misuse of the Services or address suspected prohibited conduct.

Such action may include cancelling or reversing orders, temporarily restricting account features, freezing the top-up balance, suspending access to the Platform, reviewing accounts or permanently terminating access to the Services.

The Company is not required to give advance notice before applying restrictions where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its users, its business partners or the integrity of the Services.

Applying any measure under this Policy does not limit any other right or remedy available to the Company under the Terms of Service or applicable law.

9. Record-Keeping and Cooperation

The Company may maintain records of orders, payments, deliveries, account activity, communications, technical logs and enforcement actions where reasonably necessary for operational, security, dispute resolution, legal or business purposes.

The Company may cooperate with payment service providers, banks, gaming platforms, service providers, law enforcement authorities, regulators and other authorised parties where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, prohibited conduct, security incidents, disputes, breaches of this Policy or other matters affecting the integrity and lawful operation of the Platform.

Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law, a lawful request from a competent authority or contractual obligations, or where disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its users, its business partners or the Company's legitimate interests. Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
